Coming into town over river

Many interesting architectural features everywhere you look both old and new..  A whole bunch of buildings falling in on themselves due to stringent historical rules governing rehab.

Ok one more bunk photo. Phil and I have been very fortunate to have bunkrooms all to ourselves almost always at lowest prices.

Don't bite my head off This caption goes with the kitchen/breakfast pic below. We stayed in the finest hostel so far and this was their spread for breakfast. First class.this is a pizza-but a Portuguese pizza with chorizo toppings and thin cheese layer but so look good. Here ya go Joe.

Many have non potable signs but the spiffy ones look fine.. We carry all of our water.

This caption for the dirt pic. Looks like crap but it is sweet walking. Beats cobblestone or pavement which is 80 percent of what we are walking on. The dogs are barking at the end of the day.

Stopped here for a snack. Neat bunch of vendors and an inside farmer's market.
